ECCCS is organizing its first Ph.D. Symposium on corporate governance and control, to take place at the ESC-Lille School of Management (Lille, France) on March 8-9, 2010.

Ph.D. students are encouraged to submit papers (single- or coauthored) on corporate control transactions in particular and their role in enhancing firms' corporate governance practices in general. While ECCS encourages high-quality empirical and theoretical research within the European institutional context, the Symposium is open to papers from other geographical regions (such as the U.S.) as well.

Submission Deadline:
Please e-mail a pdf version of the paper by December 15, 2009.
Final decisions on accepted papers will occur no later than January 15, 2010.
